I thought the ten “students”, their tutor and partner made up a very diverse group that got on really well. Variously, we practiced our French for a whole two days. Lille is certainly “worth a visit” as they say in the Michelin travel guides with so much to see. The visit to the LAM art museum entailed travel by both Metro and bendy-bus, furthering our French adventure. The spiritualist “art brut” by Crespin, Lesage and Simon seemed similar to what might adorn a Hindu or Buddhist temple. The visit certainly provoked discussion. Eating at the Alcide bistro, the creperie and the café at the museum was a further part of the French experience. Thank you Sandrine!
